After evaluating a range of suitable offices with the client, they finally decided that Albert House would be the ideal location for their new home. The space presented a complete open floor plan and blank canvas for us to design the perfect working environment.

Growing from 16 to potentially 50 staff, the open plan collaborative workspace was positioned to make best use of the natural light, on the eastern side of the office. This bright contemporary setting was complemented with Mikomax benching, task seating, lockers and space saving #Hush meeting pods – the client already utilised these systems in their current offices, so our design allowed to relocate all of their existing furniture and expand with new, whilst maintaining continuity of style.

Jumpman Gaming might be the relative newbie to the online bingo scene, but it’s taken the market by storm. The company first established itself as a small software developer in Guernsey without much exposure. Since then we have seen Jumpman Gaming-powered sites popping up all over the internet. Jumpman Gaming was launched in 2009 in Saint Peter Port, Guernsey and it primarily targets the United Kingdom gambling market, but the company is also looking towards extending to. Jumpman Gaming has been around for more than a few years now, having been founded back in 2012. The company spent its early years, focusing on bingo. Many well regarded and successful sites were have been launched, and many remain popular to this day. These bingo titles were originally organised under its 15 Network brand. Jumpman are ripping people off Played on Fluffy Wins owned by Jumpman Gaming. Have 5 pending withdrawals for a total of £690 they keep putting money back in my account and will not answer any emails, cannot find a phone number for them. Reported to Gaming Commission,IBAS and sent a letter through Resolver.

In the heart of the office we created a ‘Contemplation’ zone to enable staff to breakaway from their desk to practice mindfulness or play a game of chess - research has shown that playing chess results in better brain function, improved memory and cognitive abilities, strategic thinking and attention improvement. To form the ‘Contemplation’ zone, comfortable soft seating from Max and Ocee Design was flanked by bespoke plant shelves that we fabricated in our workshop out of recycled scaffold tubes and boards.

Adjacent to the ‘Contemplation’ zone we built a large glass boardroom featuring a Deploy meeting table and Coza chairs from Boss Design. The room was fitted with controllable LED lighting and Autex acoustic panels to provide a calm ambience.

A key part of the design involved creating a fun breakout space for staff and visitors to relax, eat, socialise, collaborate and to facilitate “Super-Experiences” – the concept of a super-experience is to make people feel excited or make them feel that they’ve achieved something; they should stimulate curiosity, create a sense of purpose or instil a sense of belonging.

To create a space to evoke this type of emotion, we extended and painted the MF plasterboard ceilings black and enclosed the space with glass partitioning. A combination of Greenwall and reclaimed timber feature walls were installed alongside new Milliken LVT polished concrete flooring. A central feature of the space incorporated a bespoke kitchen/bar that we manufactured in our workshop, featuring polished plaster decoration and Copper resin bar top, with integrated appliances including a Quooker hot-tap.

The heart of the breakout space features a large Centro poser table and stools from Connection, allowing people to eat, or informally meet and collaborate. The games area features pool & foosball tables, darts board and arcade machines, allowing opportunities for interaction and socialising. To manage the increased noise these types of environment can generate, Autex 3D wall and ceiling panels were installed to soften reverberation.

New mechanical and electrical services were installed, including Sonos speakers throughout the space, which are zoned to play different background music to reflect the different environments.

As works could not commence until the beginning of November 2018, the project needed to be completed under a tight timescale to ensure the client could take occupation before the end of 2018 - the POS management and installation teams rose to the challenge, ensuring the works were completed to the highest standards and enabling the client to take occupation before their end of year shutdown as planned.
